Welcome to the Florida State Fair Authority
The Florida State Fair Authority, in its mission to bring fun, family oriented entertainment to Tampa Bay, has partnered with the Frontier Rodeo Company to bring a professional rodeo to its Expo Hall.  The Tampa Bay Pro Rodeo, a professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) sanctioned rodeo, will feature bull riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, and more.

“We are very excited as an organization to hold such a prestigious event here at the State Fairgrounds,” said Chuck Pesano, Executive Director for the Florida State Fair Authority.  “Working with Don Gay and his many years of rodeo experience is sure to make this event one of our most exciting.”

Annually, the PRCA sanctions about 600 of the most elite multiple-event rodeos on the continent, 37 states and three Canadian provinces, the cream of the crop among thousands of rodeo-related events that take place each year. As a membership-driven organization, the PRCA works to ensure that every event it sanctions is managed with fairness and competence and that the livestock used is healthy and cared for to the highest standards.
