Welcome to Roubaix Lake Campground
Roubaix Campground is tucked under a growth of Ponderosa pines along its namesake lake, offering one of the only swim beaches in the Black Hills National Forest. The sites are dispersed among four loops, and many offer lake views. At an elevation of 5,500 feet, this camp remains comfortable on hot summer days, and sites are spaced far enough apart to offer ample privacy. This popular camp makes a great base for exploring all the activities and attractions at the lake and in the surrounding area. The Black Hills in western South Dakota and northeastern Wyoming feature a varied landscape of rugged rock formations, canyons and gulches, open grassland parks, tumbling streams and deep blue lakes. Roubaix Lake is in the Northern Hills Ranger District in South Dakota. This secluded lake is small with a shoreline that borders pine forest.
