Campground was clean but literally carved out of the forest with little thought given to parking larger rigs. We have a 39' fiver and had a very difficult time getting in our spot.

We with a group of 16 campers and reservations were made well in advance, yet the "first come-first serve rule couldn't be negotiated for a group spending $4000+. We were all over the park! It would have been nice to have been closer together.

First experience with 1000 Trails and I'm happy I didn't become a member if this is representative of what they offer.

Welcome to South Jetty RV & Camping Resort
As soon as you arrive at the Thousand Trails South Jetty RV Resort and preserve, you will be greeted with a warm welcome from your Ranger who is there to help in any way possible. Driving to your site you will pass several of the big trees that grow throughout this Oregon Coast RV campground. Just to the right, you notice members enjoying an arts and crafts workshop in the Activity Lodge.  Once you've parked you walk around to see what exactly South Jetty RV Resort has to offer—maybe you have time to check out a movie in the Lodge. At our Oregon Coast RV campground, you might see kids running down to the blacktop to shoot some basketball or searching the walking trails for salamanders.Come to Thousand Trails South Jetty RV Resort for comfort, relaxation and enjoyment!
