Welcome to Bonham State Park
There’s a lil’ something for everyone at Bonham, whether you’re a fan of stringing a hammock in the trees, frolicking among prairies or tackling bait. Bonham Lake spans 65 of the 261-acre park wherein camp-goers can enjoy swimming, kayaking, canoeing and fishing. Rumor has it you can snag catfish, bass, and sunfish, so technically you don’t even have to bring your own food! (But you probably should). Other attractions include an 11-mile hiking and biking trail through the wooded areas as well as the historical cream-colored limestone buildings that date back to the 1930s. Swing by in the springtime and you’ll be greeted by rolling prairies awash with wildlife. Springtime or anytime, Bonham Park awaits your arrival year-round!
