Welcome to Yeargans River Bend Resort
1955 marked the year that River Bend officially opened its doors to campers! Originally bought and developed into a campground by Harry Ritchie, it became Ritchies River Bend. Many of our longtime returning families still remember the camp this way. The office building where the suites are now located, was originally a bowling alley! Later becoming a cafe for campers, and now a fully stocked gift shop. The Yeargan family bought River Bend from Mr. Ritchie in 1970, officially becoming Yeargans River Bend, and remains in the Yeargan family to this day with the family still living on and managing the grounds year round. We truly appreciate our returning campers and their incredible loyalty, as well as new campers who are starting new family traditions with us! We hope you will enjoy the upgrades to the camp, as we have our guests needs and requests in mind with every decision we make.
