Wright's Orchard Station Campground
Our campground is ideally situated for all RVers and campers who are visiting the Central Pennsylvania area. Located on the edge of Altoona, PA, we are just a short drive to both State College, PA, and Johnstown, PA. We are conveniently located just off of Interstate 99 at Exit 31 (Plank Road). The campground has shaded as well as open areas surrounded by trees with sites to accommodate a variety of types and sizes of RV's. A railroad theme was used throughout and reflects the railroad heritage of Altoona and the former Pennsylvania Railroad. One may park their motorhome along Broadway Limited Lane (named for one of the PRR's passenger trains) or pitch a tent at Kittanning Point (named after a railroad point close to the Horseshoe Curve).

Wright's Orchard Station Campground has sites that have a level, gravel area for parking your RV. We have sites that vary from mostly sunny to mostly shaded.
All RV sites have individual water and either 30 amp or 50 amp electric service. There are 26 sites with sewer, 18 sites with basic cable TV and 10 sites that have 50 amp electric. We can accommodate large RV's in many of our sites. Our pull through sites are limited and have only water and electric service. One pull through site is 50 Amp electric and can accommodate a large motorhome. Our pull through sites are not long enough to be used for long trailers or 5th wheels. We also have 4 primitive tent sites. We are adding electric to 1 of the primitive sites. All of our sites have picnic tables and fire rings. A few sites do not have permanent fire rings but we have portable fire pits for you to use during your stay. When you make a reservation we gather as much information from you so that we can select the best site that we have for your stay.
