Welcome to Whispering Pines Camp
USG maintains a 615 acre campground with two visitors lodges and a dwelling in Franklinville, New York, about 70 miles south of Buffalo. The camp has been connected with the college since the early 1950's and has seen thousands of students visit for weekends or special one-day events.
USG member organizations are given priority but the camp can be rented by any group that can fulfill a short list of requirements.
Like the USG Business Office, Dental Clinic and Press Services, the camp is professionally staffed by a Camp Manager who oversees camp operations and facilities and acts as caretaker. Booking for camp is handled through the USG Office (not at the camp). Visit the Camp pages on the United Students Government web site (link below) for specific information on camp facilities, booking procedures, and policies for camp users.

Amenities

Within Facility
Whispering Pines Camp has much to offer the students. Tobagganing, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, sleding, fishing, hiking and more.
During the day, three marked trails are open for hiking mature woodlands. Flowing streams and active wildlife are the perfect backdrop for outdoor experiences. While students must bring their own sleds, skis and other outdoor equipment we do have some snow shoes.
