Welcome to Whippoorwill Campground
Located in South Eastern North Carolina, between the towns of Richlands and Beulaville, is a great place to come and relax a spell. Whether you want to camp on your own, come as a group or come for one of our weekend trail rides we have a place for you.
Whippoorwill Campground is constantly making improvements to please our visitors. We have primitive camping sites and our facilities also offer a covered pavilion, a swimming hole, catch and release fishing and several miles of trails for horse back riding or hiking. Cotton Top and Sandy Ridge Stables are right around the corner for those of you who like to board your horses during your stay, or for those looking for long term boarding.

Within Facility
Cotton Top Stables is available for all of your stabling needs during your horse stay at Whippoorwill Campground. All stalls are spacious and have clean bedding.
Our newly added arena is conveniently located to Cotton Top Stables and camping sites. We enjoy hosting monthly gaming shows for horse enthusiasts that includes events such as Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Apple Race, Texas Barrels, Key Hole, and more.
Sandy Ridge Stables is conveniently located for your stabling needs during your horse's stay at Whippoorwill Campground. You and your equestrian friend will enjoy our spacious 10 x 12 stalls
Camp Site Rental:

Water and Electric Sites are $20.00 per night.
Water, Electric and Sewer Sites are $25.00 per night.
( prices include 2 adults, 2 children- additional people $5.00 per night )
Primative sites available for $15.00 per tent per night
Campers have access to Shower Houses.
