Welcome to Weirs Beach RV Resort
There is evidence of travelers visiting the area as far back as 1790, the RVs of the time being Spanish sailing vessels. More recently, Mr. Weir would set up a table at the entrance to his property and charge a small fee to picnickers for access. During the 1950s cabins were built on the beach and since that time Weir’s Beach has been a popular camping and later, Victoria RV destination for those “in-the-know”. Today the secret is out. Sixty fully serviced sites and a newly renovated clubhouse with spacious comfortably appointed accommodations, inviting lounge area & laundry facilities are just a sample of the amenities awaiting your arrival.

Amenities

Within Facility
Ocean Sites
Weir’s Beach is a true bury your toes, build a castle sand beach.
Owing to its rugged rocky coastline most of Vancouver Island beaches are gravel. These sites are the perfect for those who crave maximum exposure to the West Coast lifestyle.
We provide full hookups with 30/50 amp service.
Lagoon Sites
Our fresh water lagoon offers bird watchers the opportunity to log many entries and capture spectacular close-up photos. The resident swans are particularly enchanting but many bird species winter here or pass through on annual migrations. The Lagoon is also a great place to spot Vancouver Island blacktail deer and acrobatic river otters.
We provide full hookups with 30/50 amp service.
Garden Sites
The influence of Victoria, The Garden City, is evident here with the added enjoyment of playing Bocce or Croquet. Featuring an immense flagstone patio with relaxing loungers, this section is very popular with our long-term snow birds.

Activities
The cliché that there is too much to do in one visit isn’t a cliché on Vancouver Island. Three distinct eco-systems, ocean/beach, mountainous and temperate rain forest add to your choices exponentially and our proximity to the cultural delights of Victoria and rural charm of Metchosin takes things to a whole new level.
