Welcome to Twin Anchors Campground
We are located at the crossroads of the nation, where the Jefferson Highway meets the Lincoln Highway or in modern terms US Hwy 65 and US Hwy 30. Twin Anchors Campground is just 12 miles east of Ames, IA, home of Iowa State University. We are a favorite campground to many families who have been coming to visit for 42 years. We have whatever you may need for a fun-filled family weekend!! Check out our list of activities and amenities. We spend our time making memories for you and your family.
