Welcome to Trails Campground
Trails Campground is a small, clean, quiet park, privately owned by the Thompson Family. Located in the small town of Frederic, just off the I-75 corridor, between Grayling and Gaylord. The park adjoins hundreds of acres of state land for hiking, biking, hunting, berry picking, snowmobiling or just nature watching. The small town of Frederic has an ORV trail, groomed snowmobile trails, two restaurants with full menus, and a twenty-four hour gas station/party store. Grayling has two rivers (Ausable and Manistee) in which to canoe or fish in, shopping, bowling, fish hatchery, and museum. Within 70 miles you can go on a day excursion to Mackinaw City, Mackinaw Island or both. Only one hour away is Traverse City, and don`t forget you`ll be passing Turtle Creek Casino on the way there.
