Thunderbird RV Park and Resort in Campbell River has provided year round accommodations for over 35 years. Our resort is conveniently located to all shopping amenities and features 68 beautiful serviced sites to suit your RV’ing needs including spacious big rig friendly pull-through, ocean view sites.  And now we have 4 beautiful new cottages with spectacular views of the estuary and ocean.  Please note we no longer offer tenting or unserviced sites. For our RV guests we offer full-service 30 Amp and 50 Amp RV sites. All sites are easily accessible and level. We offer well-maintained sites in a wonderful setting that provides you with comfort you deserve for a relaxing holiday. Our park offers immaculate facilities, which will help you enjoy your visit in comfort. Our resort is the destination of choice for a truly fantastic family vacation idea on Vancouver Island. Being centrally located be sure to visit the many fine Restaurants and specialty shops that Campbell River has to offer or visit Discovery Fishing Pier and drop a line in the water while enjoying a coffee or waffle ice cream cone. Campbell River is known to be the gateway to the north and west of Vancouver Island. Many of our guests will make Thunderbird RV Park a home base during their stay and branch out on day trips to explore the northern island on Hwy 19 or take in the beauty of what nature has to offer while driving to the west on Hwy 28 through Strathcona Park and explore the many lakes and trails in the area or further West to Gold River maybe take a day trip on the Uchuck 111 to Friendly Cove on Nootka Island to the very west of the Vancouver Island.
