Lake Tahoe State Recreation Area (SRA) lies on the northwestern shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe in Tahoe City. The park encompasses 55 acres with easy lake access and a variety of recreation opportunities.

At this State Recreation Area visitors will find camping and picnicking facilities in addition to expansive lake views. Visitors have direct access to the lake shore as well as a pier and boating facilities. Lakeside and Hillside campgrounds are the loops in this park. Hillside is across Highway 28 from Lakeside loop – and Lake Tahoe.

The beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains are the perfect backdrop for a Tahoe vacation at this recreational park, there is easy lake access and the surrounding forests offer many adventures for young and old.
