I have been to many campgrounds growing up in MN and this by far the most friendliness, clean, relaxing camp I have ever been to. It is a must see and stay place with a hr drive or so there are many day trips 1 can do or white water rafting a few miles up the road.

This park is an Awsome place for RV camping as well as tent camping. You are here to be closer to nature and you are, but without dry camping. The facilities are clean and well cared for. The park management team is friendly and knowledgeable about the area. You are right on the Arkansas River so fishing is literally at your doorstep. The number of steps to take to be able to throw your line in the water depends on your site, but the farthest might be 50 yards from the water.

If you are looking to "get away", this is the place.
