We stayed at Sunset King in early May and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The campground was immaculate, the rest rooms were the cleanest we have ever seen, the food in the restaurant was excellent, the employees were very helpful from the moment we checked in showing us our site and until the day we left to continue our journey to Orlando everything was perfect. The setting of the park overlooking King Lake was majestic and Sunday morning service at their beautiful chapel on the campground made for a wonderful stay which we look to come back on our way back from Orlando.

Welcome to Sunset King RV Resort
Offering relaxing in the sun, good fishing, sightseeing, or just plain congeniality is in your plans, then visit us for a while at Sunset King. We are located in the Florida Panhandle, approximately 40 miles north of Destin and Ft Walton Beach on the Emerald Coast of the Gulf of Mexico (Click HERE for map & directions). Sunset King Lake RV Resort is easy and convenient to get to, and is in a rural setting, away from all the highway noises that you sometimes have to put up with at other campgrounds.Our resort is on King Lake, which is approximately 580 acres and is well stocked with black bass, crappie, shell-cracker, and bream. Large bass catches are a regular happening and the lake has yielded a 17 1/4 pounder. Bream weighing in at 2 pounds and greater, along with 3 pound crappie have been caught on many occasions. We have large campsites that can accommodate any size RV, from personal campers to the "Big Rigs", with water, sewer, 30 & 50 Amp electric service, and cable TV. WIFI is also available ($).
