South Sauty Creek Fishing Camp has been one of Lake Guntersville’s most popular fishing, water skiing, duck hunting, and, camping site since the water was backed up by TVA in 1939. In the year 1995 the campground was improved to accommodate the need for more RV spaces on Lake Guntersville. The Campground has fifty-one lakeside lots located within the three camping areas: Bannister Bayou, Nick’s Point and Martin Drive. Each site has 50 amp electrical service and public water service provided. Waste pump out service is offered twice a week for an additional service charge or if you have your own tank, a dump station is located at the campground. The campground has a bath house, swimming pool, fishing piers, boat ramp, two boat docks with covered wet slips and gas on the dock.
