Welcome to Smith Mountain Campground
If you are an outdoor person who enjoys beautiful scenery and a relaxing environment, join us here at Smith Mountain Campground! We have RV spots for those who enjoy the relaxation with their own personal luxury and tent locations for those who want to be  more personal  with nature.

We are situated in Penhook, VA with a view of Smith Mountain and near beautiful Smith Mountain Lake. There is a public boat access roughly 3 to 4 miles from the campsite with protected boat and trailer storage available. Only a few miles to the south a camper can find a restaurant, gas station, minute market, and a Dairy Queen.

Day trips easily include Roanoke, Lynchburg, Natural Bridge and Caverns, and Martinsville Speedway.
