The Town of Minden is a quiet little town in the heart of the Carson Valley. It is the Douglas County Seat and provides fire and sheriff protection to its residents in conjunction with Douglas County. The Town also prides itself on providing excellent trash pickup and water services to local residents and businesses; parks and park maintenance; streets, street sweeping and snow removal; alleys, sidewalks and street lights.
