Welcome to Salmon Country Marina
Established and incorporated in June of 1975. It has been a family owned and operated business for 35 years. Before Salmon Country was a marina and campgrounds, it was a 200 acre dairy farm run by Alfred and Beatrice Blunt. When Alfred wasn’t farming he loved his boat and fishing. At that time Alfred had the biggest boat on the river, a 19 foot MFG. They soon realized that running a small dairy farm was no longer feasible. Luckily, they had the little Salmon River flowing right through their back yard! The next logical step was to run a family operated marina and campgrounds, which leads us to our present day operation. Robert and Carolyn Blunt now own and run the family marina along with their son and daughter in law, James and Julia Blunt.
