Welcome to Rutlader Outpost
Rutlader Outpost is depicted as an Ole West Border Town on the border of Missouri and Kansas. Between the years of 1838 and 1845 a military road was constructed through the Indian Territory to connect Fort Leavenworth, Fort Scott (Kansas) Fort Gibson (Oklahoma). This was done to protect the western border of the United States which was the Missouri Kansas line. The old route has been replaced by Highway 69, and considered the Frontier Military Scenic Byway. Our points of interest are: RV Park, Live Country Music Shows, Kansas Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum, Snack Bar, Middle Creek State Fishing Lake, RV Sales & Cowboy Church. Please check the buttons to your left that interest you.

Review taken from rvparkreviews.com:
Good flat stone pull through sites, good internet, free air TV, new picnic tables. A busy campground, 7 miles from town. No shade, friendly staff. Would stay again if skirting the south side of Kansas City. Plan on star gazing tonight. We camped here in a Motorhome.
