Here you will find beautiful landscaping with acres of natural vegetation along South Umpqua River. All sites are spacious with grassy areas and plenty of room for parking. The River provides recreational opportunities such as swimming, rafting, kayaking, bass fishing and excellent late fall and winter steelhead fishing. There is even gold in the river for the ambitious vacationers wishing to try their luck at gold panning. You will also find easy access for dropping your rubber raft or canoe.     Recent Camper comments:
We stayed here one night while traveling. The access off/on I-5 was very easy. There are no other facilities near the campground (fuel, food, etc). The roads were wide and the gravel sites were reasonable level. The rest rooms were clean as were the showers. We would stay here again for a one night while traveling.
