Many of them only a few miles away. Anglers will discover heaven fly fishing the confluence of the Colorado River, catching Northern Pike in the William's Fork Reservoir or even filling a stringer of Kokanee Salmon from Green Mountain Reservoir. Giant Mackinaw, also known as Lake Trout, can be hauled into your boat on Grand Lake or catch your limit of Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout from Wolford Reservoir. Whether you like to fish from the bank, the boat or wade right on in, you won't drive over an hour from Red Mountain RV Park. Hunting season is a big time of the year here in Grand County and many hunters bag trophy Elk and Mule Deer within minutes of Red Mountain RV Park. Photo hunters, too, can find plenty of wildlife to fill their galleries wall-to-wall.
