is a not-for-profit mutual benefit organization established to serve the Employees and Retirees of PG&E, its subsidiaries and their immediate family members.Camp Almanor: In a scenic mountain setting, Lake Almanor at 52 square miles is one of the largest man-made lakes in California. With its crystal clear blue water at a summer water temperature of 70 degrees, it is an ideal destination for fishing (castfish,black bass and trout), boating, water-skiing, swimming, camping and picnicking.
Several golf courses are located nearby, and extensive trails are open to hikers and mountain bikers that offer spectacular scenery. Almanor's Lakeside Trail, specifically, is open to wheelchair, pedestrian and bicycle travelers. This paved lakeside trail begins north of the U.S. Forestry Service campground & runs for nearly 10 miles, ending at Rocky Point. Lake Almanor is also a perfect base camp for exploring Lassen Volcanic National Park and the Lassen Scenic Byway.
