Welcome to Pigeon River Campground
At the campground, we have 20 campsites available as well as 6 riverside camping cabins near the Smoky Mountains. Our tent pads are 12’ by 12’. Group tent pads are also available. Our riverside camping cabins also sleep 5 guests in one double and three twin beds. We are located on the northeast side of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, so we’re only a couple of minutes from all of the beautiful hiking trails in the Great Smoky Mountains as well as Pisgah National Forest. If you’re traveling from Knoxville, TN or Asheville, NC, we’re only about an hour away from both locations. Our campground is away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to get to Knoxville, Asheville, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville or Gatlinburg in an hour or less!
