The quaint little town of Ocean Park lies at the HEART of the beautiful Long Beach Peninsula. In addition, the resort community, and the surrounding Peninsula, showcases all that is great and appealing about Washington. The Long Beach Peninsula measures 28 miles in length and is only 4 miles wide at its widest point. This 28 mile stretch of beach on the west side(Pacific Ocean side) of the peninsula is recognized as one of the longest beaches in the world.The northernmost tip of the peninsula Is home to Leadbetter Point State Park. It is a day use park on the flight path of migrating birds, (from Hummingbirds to Swans), and it is one of the few places left where one can go to experience natures quiet solitude. A feat nearly impossible to accomplish anywhere else in today's bustling world.
