Welcome to Oak Bottom Campground
This is the only campground located on the shores of Whiskeytown Lake. The campground is operated by a concessionaire, Forever Resorts, and is open year round. The tent campground contains 94 sites. Seventeen of the sites are located on the shoreline and your boat may be moored on your site. Each tent site has a table, fire grate, and bear-proof storage locker. Two tents may be put up in each site. There are two restrooms with flush toilets. All sites are walk-in; the distance from the parking area to your campsite may be anywhere from 10 to 500 feet. Sleeping in vehicles is not allowed in the tent area. The recreational vehicle campground contains 22 sites and is located in the large parking area near the launch ramp. The campground is on the asphalt and has no shade. There is a restroom in the RV campground. The sites do not have tables, hookups, or fire grates, but there are a dump station and a water source nearby. No tents are allowed in the RV area. The RV campground is a 5 to 15 minute walk from the tent campground.
