The largest of the state forests with nearly 223,000 acres it offers plenty of natural wilderness and solitude. Due to its large size the forest has been spilt into two areas: Crystal Lake and Clear Lake for reservation purposes. For a full appreciation of all the forest has to offer please review both areas prior to making reservations. Clear Lake Area.
