Welcome to North of Highland Camping Area
When it comes to camping Cape Cod is truly one of the best vacation destinations in the Northeast. Although there are many campgrounds on Cape Cod, deciding where to stay on Cape Cod is easy… North of Highland Camping Area is the perfect spot to relax and unwind near the tip of Cape Cod. Our campsites rest on nearly 60 acres of wooded pine trees completely surrounded by the tranquility of the Cape Cod National Seashore. Head of the Meadow Beach is just a short 1/2 mile walk from the campground. So we are close to Cape Cod beaches yet we are also less than 10 minutes by car from all of the shopping and restaurants in nearby Provincetown and Wellfleet.

Our Cape Cod Campsites:
We have 237 wooded campsites on 59 acres of pine forest
Each campsite is uniquely shaped to the natural contour of the Cape Cod landscape
Each site has its own picnic table
Each site has parking for at least one vehicle.
Because each of our campsites is unique, please identify in advance the size and type of your camping equipment so we can select a campsite that will be the most appropriate for your needs. If you bring more than one car, please let us know this in advance and then register each vehicle at the rental office understanding that there is a charge for each additional vehicle. If the campsite cannot comfortably accommodate additional vehicles, they would need to be parked in one of the main parking lots in Area 1 near the registration office or the recreation building.
