New River CampgroundWhether it's a leisurely day of paddling, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, or fishing, an exciting river trip down Class I, II or III rapids, or a relaxing weekend stay on the New River, we can help you plan the perfect family vacation or group outing.
NEW RIVER CAMPGROUND is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and Virginia at an elevation of 2600 feet and spans an entire mile along the scenic New River. For those planning an overnight or weekend stay, we offer tent sites, camping cabins and efficiency apartments to suit your camping preference.

BASIC TENT SITE RATES
$21.00 per site for two people. There is a $4.00 charge for each additional person, but children under six years of age are free. Reservations may be held with a credit card number.
WATER AND ELECTRIC RV SITE RATES
$24.00 per site for two people. There is a $4.00 charge for each additional person, but children under six years of age are free. Reservations may be held with a credit card number.
Camping Cabins are one room log cabins with two bunk beds and full size loft bed, light, receptacle and ceiling fan. Each has a picnic table and fire ring for cooking or campfire. They are located near bathhouse facilities with hot showers. Please note that you will need to bring your own mattress, sleeping bag or linens. Check in time is 2:00 p.m., check out time is 11:00 a.m..

$32.00 a night for two people. There is a $5.00 charge for each additional person, but children under six years of age are free. We have three Camping Cabins. Reservations may be held with a credit card number.
