Attention bird-watchers and outdoor enthusiasts: This KOA features 47 wooded acres of wildlife area, 2 miles of lakeshore, 20 boat slips-and 46 Kamping Kabins and Kottages (along with RV and tent sites) at which to relax in South Texas. Enjoy fishing, boating, hiking and swimming in the lake or pool. Keep an eye out for arrowheads; this site is a Karankawa Indian state archaeological landmark.   It's a great central location for day trips to San Antonio, Gulf of Mexico, Padre Island National Seashore, Texas State Aquarium, Mexico and more.
