Welcome to Mountain River Trails Camping
Mountain river trails began late in 1969 and became a park in 1970. It was created as a place family could use for recreational camping, and as a place for social gathering. Each purchased membership is permanently tied to a specific site for that members use. Camping may consist of throwing a sleeping bag on the ground or putting up a tent to pulling in a licensed recreation trailer. Though there are not septic dumps at each site their are 3 different stations throughout the park for emptying trailer sewer tanks. There is water available to each site. There is no power to the sites but a generator may be used in accordance with the bylaws and restriction of facilities of the association. There are 7 bathrooms spread evenly throughout the park that have sinks toilets and shower. These are shut down during the winter months. There is a clubhouse with sinks, toilets, showers, laundry facilities, game room, and library. There is an approximately 3 acre lake that gets stock with trout, a ball field for baseball, a small basket ball court, and playground area for the kids. There are events that go on throughout the summertime such as a fishing derby, kid play day and craft days, 4th of July parade, and many other events. There are bylaws and restriction of facility rules to make camping and social gatherings safe for everyone. There is a semi annual meeting in April and an annual meeting in July at which time members will vote on member submitted proposals. The remaining months from March to October there are board of director meetings which members are invited to attend. Most important it is a place where you can come and relax from your everyday busy schedules. With it's location being very central in Washington, it is just a short drive away to be camping all nestled in a rural setting surrounded by 66 acres of outdoor camping and family fun.
