Melville Ponds Campground is located on Aquidneck Island in Newport County, in the town of Portsmouth, Rhode Island. We are 5 miles from historical Newport, RI and the ocean. Close to stores, tourist train, restaurants and theaters. We offer spacious campsites for RV’s and tents with Fishing,Hiking and walking trails on site!
