Welcome to Little Orleans Campgound
spacer Little Orleans Campground is located on 222 acres of beautiful woodlands in the Upper Potomac River valley in Western Maryland and provides a total camping experience. There is always something to see and do regardless of the season! The tent and RV campsites are spaciously located within the forest area for your nature enjoyment. Each site has a fire ring and a picnic table and each RV site has electric, water, and sewer. Full-service cabins are also available for rental.
The Chespeake & Ohio Canal is located beside the Potomac River 1/2 mile to the south for additional hiking, biking, and horseback riding. There is also a boat ramp at that point on the river that is ideal for canoeing, kayaking, and other small craft.

Immediately to the north of the campground is the 43,000-acre Green Ridge State Forest which offers numerous hiking trails and scenic spots as well as mountain biking trails that have been developed nearby. Fifteen-mile Creek runs through the property and is a stocked trout stream. For little ones, there is a small fishing pond located by the main facility complemented with ducks! ATV trails are available in nearby Pennsylvania's Buchanan State Forest.

The main facility houses a recreation room with pool tables, pinball machines, and many other games as well as a convenience store. A large selection of RV parts, hunting supplies, and fishing equipment is available for sale; as are firewood and ice.
There is a playfield outside the main building that contains two swimming pools, basketball and volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and a log playhouse with slides, swings, and a bridge. Across from the playfield is the comfort station which provides hot showers and is connected by breezeway to a newly built laundry building and a large multi-use pavilion available at the top of the playfield.
For Fall sportsmen, there is a state-owned and operated shooting range located within 12 miles of the property.
