NASCAR fans may be pleased to know that Lawson’s Campground is just a little over an hour away from Bristol Motor Speedway. The Tennessee Smokies minor league baseball team plays about 45 minutes from the campground. For those who are interested in music and performances, Niswonger Performing Arts Center is located nearby in Greeneville. It offers year round entertainment by a variety of well-known artists.
