Welcome to Lake Alexander RV Park
Lake Alexander RV Park is a quiet, spacious, family owned and operated campground located near Momence, Illinois, within a 1-hour drive of Chicago.  The camp is 120 acres of natural beauty on the banks of the Kankakee River.  The wooded habitat abounds with fish, wildlife, and native plants, and we offer many amenities for recreation and relaxation.  The Kwak family has been serving our camping friends for over 50 years.  Please join us for recreational vehicle camping in this scenic, peaceful, and friendly setting.  We’re open April 15 to October 15, with sites available nightly through seasonal stays.  Please explore our web pages, then contact or visit us if you have questions.

Momence Gladiolas Festival
Join us for our annual small-town festival during early August. Watch parades, meet the Glad queen and princess, enjoy rides at the carnival, see the classic car show, stock up at the flea and antique market, run the Kids Run or 5k and 10k River Run, and enjoy live music and great food! Kankakee County Fair
A big local event in early August featuring carnival rides, games, 4-H exhibits, farm animals, and Grandstand events including a rodeo, tractor pull, demolition derby, and musical concerts. Oh, and food, lots of food! (20-min drive)

The historic city of Momence is your small-town home for supplies and dining during your camping trip. You’ll find everything you need — fresh groceries, great restaurants, ice, gasoline, propane, fishing licenses, bait and tackle, banks and ATM machines, churches, post office, and attended laundromat. Canoe Trips
Paddle the beautiful Kankakee River! Reed’s Canoe Trips rents canoes and provides shuttle service for a variety of float trips down the river. Another great way to enjoy nature during your camping stay.

Splash Valley Aquatic Park
This wonderful water park for all ages features large pools, many slides (tube, body, and kids), lazy river, kids play area, sand volleyball, snack bar, and showers. Plenty of lifeguards keep the kids safe and happy! (20-min drive)

Exploration Station Children’s Museum
Exploration Station is a hands-on exploration and discovery museum for children and their families. (20-min drive)

Perry Farm Park
This Park offers recreation for all ages, including paved trails, recreational fields, playground, shelters, picnic areas, farm animals, Indian caves, fruit orchards, and rose gardens. (20-min drive)
