Welcome to Iron Creek Lake Campground
Definitely the best place to go. Surrounded by the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, the campground consists a dozens of cabins to stay and enjoy the wildlife. Physical Address: Iron Creek Lake Campground & Store 20912 Iron Creek Lake Road Spearfish, S.D. 57783 GettingToTheLake Getting Here: The quickest way to access Iron Creek Lake is to take Exit 8 off Interstate 90 on the west edge of Spearfish and head south. McGuigan Road turns into Tinton Road (134) a couple miles south. After traveling about 13 miles south, a wooden sign will indicate where to turn right or west onto Beaver Creek Road. Just a half mile or so down this road, and another wooden sign marks a left-hand turn onto Iron Creek Road which leads directly to the lake. The lake can also be accessed from Spearfish Canyon by following the signs just west of Roughlock Falls. We look forward to meeting you!

Iron Creek Lake offers tent and RV camping with some electrical hookups available. The cost is $17 per night for a tent site for up to 4 people in the same immediate family, $5 extra per person above four. Campers/RVs cost $20 per site for up to 4 family members plus $5 extra per person above four. Electricity is $5 more per night, is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and may require extension cords depending on the site. Dogs are welcome but also cost $5 extra per dog per night in the campground. Dogs must be leashed at all times and are not permitted on the beach or in the swimming area. Some sites can also be rented on a monthly basis for a special rate.
