Glenwood Resort invites you to enjoy year-round recreation amid the quiet beauty of the Illinois River Valley. The Illinois River Valley, fantastic rock formations that flank a several mile stretch of the Illinois River, is one of the state's foremost natural attraction. Glenwood Resort is open for all seasons. During the summer, enjoy Nature or one of several area golf courses. During the winter, enjoy the region's best family-oriented cross-country skiing and snowmobile trails along the Illinois Michigan Canal.  Large sites, pool, beach, baseball, basketball, tennis and volleyball courts. Enjoy playgrounds, horseshoes, hiking, hayrides, planned activities and chicken dinners. Fishing (kids fishing in resort) and Boating just 1 mile away at the Illinois River, free public ramps.
