It is situated right on the snow line, a half hour from the rugged grandeur and beauty of Echo Summit, and an hour from South Lake Tahoe. An authentic ghost town and the remains of what was once one of the richest gold mines in the area, are on the 325 acre, pine covered preserve. Elevation: 3,700 ft.
