Welcome to Fritz's Island Campground
When you camp at Fritz's Island Campgrounds, you will enjoy natural beauty with modern amenities. Each campsite is provided a fire ring as well as a picnic table. There are porta-potties throughout the campgrounds along with a state maintained public restroom. We have a store where anyone is welcome to purchase items they may need or perhaps forgot to pack. Exclusively for our campers are modern restrooms and showers ($3.00 fee per shower, per person 5 years of age and older) also located in our store. We are a tubing outfitter on the scenic Niobrara River in Sparks, Nebraska. If tubing is what you are looking for then you are in the right place. When you tube with us our goal is that you have a stress free trip. You will be transported from our campgrounds to your launching site where your tubes will already be there waiting for you to just get on and enjoy your float. After you spend a fun day navigating the Niobrara, you will also have the convenience of landing right at Stan's Landing located in the middle of our campgrounds. After a day on the river you can enjoy a relaxing shower in our modern showers located in our convenience store that is centrally located in our campgrounds. Our store also provides clean and modern restrooms that are handicap accessible, as well as laundry facilities, souvenirs, snacks, beverages and other camping supplies that you may need.Our beautiful campgrounds are located along the Niobrara River. We accommodate tent camping and have RV hookups. Sites are equipped with a fire ring and picnic table. We do apologize, but due to the volume of business we have and our size we are only able to accommodate campers that are tubing with us.
