Welcome to Fort Chiswell
Fort Chiswell RV Campground has 88 camping sites that are full hookups for RVs. On-site recreational facilities include a swimming pool, a playground for children, basketball and volleyball courts, and a game room. The campground also has a pond where campers can fish for trout for a fee. Other amenities include a picnic pavilion, restrooms, showers, a laundry facility and a dump station. A convenience store on the property sells RV supplies and gifts. The Factory Merchants Outlet Mall is next to the campground and the Fort Chiswell Animal Park is less than a mile away.

"Beautiful approach road entering. Easy access to your site. All the sites were pull-thru. At the end of the day you don't want to be jockeying into a site. Everything was easy. I like that. In the open for good satellite TV reception. WE enjoyed it very much."
 
"Wife, grandson and I were just looking for a "get out of town" weekend, and being ~90 minutes away, Fort Chiswell was a good fit. Considering how close this campground is to I-81, it's remarkably quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the grounds and facilities were clean, our space was level and plenty big for our 29' travel trailer, and we particularly enjoyed the pool and large open field. We weren't in the market for additional nearby activities, so I can't comment on that."
