Welcome to Fisheating Creek Campground
Part of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's Fisheating Creek Wildlife Management Area. We're located near the town of Palmdale in Southwest Florida and about as far away from Disney as you can get. Our 'gators are real and a Kite is a bird, not two pieces of wood and plastic. We are in a remote wildlife area but that doesn't mean you have to rough it. Our campground has 120 sites in three distinct areas. RV sites are closest to the main entrance and campground store. Primitive tent sites are north or south of the entrance. North tent sites are close to or on the Swimming Hole's waterfront. Some of the tent sites on the south have direct water access to the Creek. All sites have picnic tables and access to the best playground of all - Mother Nature!

Amenities

Within Facility
We have 52 RV sites including 48 full-hookup sites with 30 and 50 amp electric, water and sewer for your convenience. These sites are identified as A1-A8, B1-B10, C1-C11, D1-D5 and F1-F9. RV sites with no hookups include E1-E7. You can see the site location on our campground map. Bathrooms are located between the C & D areas. We have an on-site dump station for those camping in RV sites without sewer.
Tent Sites: We have 68 tent sites. Most do not have electricity or water located on site but you can find water at the north or south bathhouses. Waterfront tent sites 11 to 16 are very convenient for canoeists and kayakers. A few have electricity as do some of the "P" sites. Call the office for details.
Pop Up camping on a TRIAL basis will be allowed on sites 1-5 and 61-68 excluding site 62. Pop ups of course are welcome on RV sites.
