Located in Lake City, Colorado.  Our campground is in a quiet, residential neighborhood, yet within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, parks, trails, and streams. Enjoy the slow pace and take advantage of the amazing mountain recreation opportunities that the San Juans has to offer.   We have easy access to hiking trails, rivers, 4x4 roads, and ghost towns.   Come and stay at the Elkhorn a part of your memorable vacation in Lake City, Colorado. We’ve got plenty of room at the Elkhorn RV Resort for your big rig, motor home, RV, pop-up camper, pick up truck, or classic camper. We have three sizes of RV sites, one size for small and regular sized rigs, medium rigs, and another size for big rigs.

 

If you’re into ‘roughing’ it in a tent, consider the comfort and value of a camping cabin.   These cabins are located adjacent to the wash house, where you’ll find clean restrooms and hot showers. You’ll find a large, soft grassy area in front of our main house for tent camping. Limited space available. The tent area is near the community grill, firepit, and wash house, which has clean rest rooms and hot showers.
