Creekside RV Resort is a brand new Florida RV Resort and a gated-community located a quarter mile east of I-75 at Exit 161 in the charming, waterside town of Punta Gorda, Florida. Punta Gorda rests on Charlotte Harbor, a gateway to the Gulf of Mexico, and is just a short jaunt to Fort Myers, Sarasota and Naples, Florida. The Resort is among Florida’s newest RV resorts and will have a total of 195 RV sites on 47 acres, featuring aclubhouse, comfort stations, outdoor recreation area, a five-acre lake and cul-de-sacs. The Resort is being constructed in two phases. Phase I has 122 RV sites and will be open on January 1, 2017; Phase II has an additional 73 RV sites and will be ready for the 2017-2018 winter season. Creekside RV Resort offers a backwoods, rustic setting nestled alongside, and with direct access to, Alligator Creek where guests enjoy hours of peaceful kayaking. This Florida RV Resort is close-by Walmart, Home Depot, Publix and the Punta Gorda Airport with Allegiant Air flights in and out of Punta Gorda, Florida. Top that off with downtown less than six miles away for guests to enjoy delicious local restaurants, extraordinary shops, Fishermen’s Village, boating, fishing and year round festivals, farmers’ markets and art walks. Guests are able to hop on a bike to get anywhere in the bicycle-friendly town of Punta Gorda. For more shopping and white sandy Florida beaches, guests take a short ride to Port Charlotte, Englewood, Boca Grande, Fort Myers, Sarasota and Naples, Florida. Creekside RV Resort accommodates Class A, B, C, Fifth Wheels and Travel Trailers. All RV sites are a minimum of 40′ wide by 80′ deep – with many larger – with paver driveways and patios, are fully sodded and landscaped, with 50 amp electric service, city water and sewer, and with WIFI. Creekside RV Resort has three comfort stations with laundry facilities, bathrooms and showers, a 9,500 square foot clubhouse overlooking the lake with a wrap-around porch. The dance floor and seating fits 150+ comfortably. The clubhouse has state-of-the-art acoustics, a stage for entertainment, an exercise room with commercial equipment, a kitchen, a card room, library and billiards room. It also has bathrooms with showers and a laundry room. The outdoor recreation area has a beach to lounge on, a swimming pool and spa, a picnic pavilion, Pickleball, Bocce Ball and Shuffleboard courts as well as horseshoes, a golf driving cage and a putting green.
