Whether you need rest for a night or two along your journey, a place short term due to relocation, or even long term, Cherokee Campground is the place. With reasonable rates, quiet and safe surroundings, and a simple "home town" atmosphere, Cherokee Campground prides itself in assisting extended-stay and short-term guests.
Originally "Cherokee Beach" and formerly called "Cherokee Kamper Village," long time owner - the late - Sonny Littleton and his family (Cherokee Enterprises, Inc.) built a successful family oriented business. For years, families enjoyed weekends swimming, an afternoon picnic, and many other activities. Although no swimming is allowed, the 16-acre lake continues to be a focal point for those who camp. Our guests can fish, from the bank only, without an Alabama license. This is a private lake.
