Welcome to Camp Hatteras RV Resort and Campground
We are located on Hatteras Island in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  We are surrounded by two bodies of water, the Pamlico Sound and the Atlantic Ocean, which is why they say, “Life on a Sandbar”. On the Outer Banks we are well known for our lighthouses, the history of the Wright Brothers and Blackbeard the Pirate, along with other facts and folk lore.  Our campground sits on 50 acres with Oceanfront and Soundfront accommodations, including RV, Tent sites and vacation rentals. Our guests have access to the Beach and the Pamlico sound and we are just minutes away from shopping, dining and outdoor activities

Large Game room
Our playground area features a climbing center and a swing set, miniature golf, basketball, tennis, horseshoes and shuffle board. The Clubhouse is where the camp store and registration office are located. This is a great area to gather for family meals, featuring a kitchen for our guests use. There are games to play and books to borrow and a large game room next door.
Off of the clubhouse are our three pools. Camp Hatteras has a large outdoor pool with a kiddie pool and an indoor heated pool with a Jacuzzi.
You may just want to rent a bicycle at the guard house and ride around the park or up the street for a bite to eat. There are local restaurants just a short distance away.
If you are looking for some adventure, our Soundside marina offers water sport rentals by Kitty Hawk Kites .
There is on site security from 8 am to 11 pm daily in our peak season.
