Welcome to Big Meadow Family Campground
Our family has camped since 1974 and found camping to be a very enjoyable and family oriented affair. We decided in 1988 to try to purchase either an existing campground or to develop our own. Big Meadow Family Campground was opened on May 22, 1995. The park was built and continues to be operated by Malcolm, Barbara & Greg Johnson. Our personal goals are to operate a quiet and clean campground, with courteous and friendly service. In 2006 Big Meadow Family Campground was awarded Tennessee “Campground of the Year.” This is a coveted award presented annually to outstanding campgrounds by the Tennessee Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (TNARVC).
