We are the largest, local family owned and operated exclusive retreat in the Bethel Woods region, with 170 spacious wooded campsites.  Formerly known as Swan Lake Camplands, in 2016 new owners are excited to compliment the Campground Vision of The DeLuca Family, as we add expertise and programs designed by campers for campers to optimize both the camping grounds and unique service experiences! We will continue to specialize in offering access to the most unique “Woodstock Camping Experience”! The Bethel Hideaway Access to Adventure begins by reserving your site, and follows up to provide campers with the ability to explore the Catskill Region through excursions to local Concerts, Museums, Festivals, Local Distilleries, Wineries, Farms and Golf Courses… Then, return to a familiar, accommodating surrounding at any time to re-charge! Bethel Hideaway Campground Resort is conveniently located approximately 10 miles from Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, (located at the site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival).  Our campers can choose to enjoy the Bethel Woods Center of the Arts Museum, housed in a beautiful LED-certified green building set back from the top of the Woodstock Festival hillside, and learn the story behind the “Sixties”. Energetic campers will enjoy access to boating, kayaking, canoeing, zip lining, paintball, horseback riding, fishing, hiking, auto racing and golf – all located at your fingertips! Whether desiring a true Catskills Camping Experience seeking freedom from the “hustle and bustle” of the daily grind, or an adventure to do something a little different from the normal camping routines, our camping activities provide opportunities for families to either create memories together or decompress individually in one of NY States most cultural environments. We are the creators of “CAREFREE CAMPING”: Reserve a completely set up campsite – we do all the work!  Bethel Hideaway Campground Carefree Camping packages for 2 or 4 people, comes with a completely set up tent, (1) or (2) queen air mattresses (depending on package), (2) or (4) chairs, picnic table, fire ring, cooler & stack of wood!  All you need to bring is your toothbrush, sleeping bag, pillow & groceries! RV campers (tow behind & pull-thru), and tents are always welcome at Bethel Hideaway Campground Resort, with all amenities listed available for the season. Seasonal camping is a great alternative to owning a summer home in the Catskills!  Many guests who come to the campground for a few days become seasonal campers in the heart of the beautiful Catskill Mountains.
