Welcome to 1000 Islands Campground
1000 Islands Campground is privately owned campground, this is our 10th season. Among our amenities is playground equipment supplemented with a large wooden boat (Missbehavin'), Kidd's Kastle, and wooden Farmall tractor/hay wagon. Another wagon provides occasional hayrides around the campground. We also have a horseshoe pit and have set up 2 basketball hoops near a 24' x 40' carport for group use with picnic tables. There are also 2 modest size sandy relaxation areas to enjoy. Most sites have their own picnic tables and many campers enjoy campfires in their fire rings. Major campground improvements were completed in 2003, 2004, 2009 and 2010. Many campers join us in the Pirate Week festivities in Alexandria Bay in August. Most Fri. nights from the week after Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend there is an antique car cruise-in at the ice cream store directly in front of the campground.

Our 17 sites for tent camping is in a "wooded area" but still have 15 amp electric service, water, and all sites have a fire ring and picnic table. Showers and bathrooms are a very short walk away.
We have two "glamping tents" now available. One is a 10 by 12 canvas wall tent, the other is a 12x14 wall tent. both are on a raised deck, with a spacious deck to relax on, Power is only an extent ion cord away, and both have a screened in front with a door to help keep the bugs out.
Our 48 site RV/Trailer sites come with 20/30/50 Amp service, water, and sewer. Those using the 22 non-sewer sites may use one of the three dump stations at TIC or can also use our honey wagon service. These 22 sites were upgraded to non-metered 20/30/50 Amp electric service and have individual water spigots. We have a mix of pull through and back in sites, most with gravel drives. And for your camping pleasure, sites have a campfire ring and picnic tables.
We have Wi-FI through out most of the camping areas.
We now have 1 and 2 room cabins! Campers must bring their own linens for the double bed and twin sized bunk bed. An antique couch/day bed is also available. A combo propane/charcoal grill is provided for outdoor cooking and a picnic table inside a screen room for outdoor meals. A small dorm size refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and toaster are inside for minor indoor snacking.
