Welcome to Turkey Fork Recreation Area
The day use visitor will find shaded, secluded picnic areas convenient to the lake and swimming area. The grassy beach provides a few trees for lounging in the shade and an open area for sunbathers. The day use area also features showers, a bathhouse, and a covered pavilion. Turkey Fork Campground provides visitors with seclusion and scenery. Campsites are situated among pines, magnolias, and sweet bays. Several campsites feature lake-side views and easy access to the water. A short hiking trail connects the day use area to the campground area. The trail takes the hiker through wooded areas to scenic lake view
