The Daniel Boone National Forest offers an abundance of outdoor recreation opportunities. Camping, hiking and fishing are just a few of the many attractions that draw more than one million visitors to the forest each year. Abundant wildlife, lush vegetation, magnificent scenery, numerous recreation opportunities, and campground events offer visitors much to enjoy.   Explore opportunities across the forest by selecting a recreation activity from the links on the left. You may also concentrate your search to one of the four districts by selecting from the Areas and Activities sidebar on the right side of this screen. Fees are charged for use of some areas such as boat ramps and campgrounds. However, most of the recreation opportunities on the Daniel Boone National Forest are free of charge for your use and enjoyment.
